Cutting the Grass

In Košice they have an interesting way of cutting the grass. At first I didn't think that they cut the grass at the University because everywhere it was tall and there were wild flowers growing in it. Then after about a week I learned that they do cut it but they wait until it is about knee high with flowers and other wild plants growing in it. Then, they cut it with weed wackers and not with a lawn mower. There are a number of guys who spend all day weed wacking the grass and wild flowers. It takes a long time to do all of this area with just a weed wacker so they start early in the morning sometimes. They were outside our dorm one morning weed wacking at about 6am.
