Danielle

Last Monday morning another of the IAESTE trainees left us. Danielle from Canada was here in Košice, Slovakia for 5 weeks with us. Danielle is a Graduate student in Architecture and was the only IAESTE trainee working at her Architecture firm here. The other three architecture students here Magda, Dubravka, and Ivana work for a different company. Because Danielle was the only trainee working at her company, her boss could afford to give her a very nice bonus of 500 euros for all of the hard work she did for them. She could hardly believe that the 500 euro bill was real when it was given to her on her last day. She says that she wont be using it on anything specific but will be able to relax now on her travels around Europe. Since her departure on Monday she has been to Prague to visit a friend and is now in Vienna visiting other friends. She just updated us on her travels and it sounds like she is having a great time. It was great to get to know her while she was here and I think that everyone here misses her.
